Lilongwe Water Board would like to apologise to its valued customers in parts of Areas; 18, 25 and 49 for experiencing water supply interruption from Sunday 20th August 2017. This is because of a pipe burst and subsequent repair works on a pipe at Kanengo that supplies water to the aforementioned areas. The repair works will be completed by today and supply will be restored this afternoon. Lilongwe Water Board sincerely apologises for any inconvenience that this may have caused.

I would like to reach out to citizens in my ward to request them to be responsible and work collectively with us their leaders for development to progress. I have noted that there are some citizens that even with the presence of dumpsites in designated areas they still dump waste anyhow and I was also particularly surprised with the conduct of some citizens who destroyed Caravat rings that we planned to use. I believe as we request for development we too as citizens need to be responsible.

I would like to ask for an update on progress in finishing of work and opening of the Zolozolo clinic. We have been pushing for proper answers but to no avail. Perhaps our MP can intervene and engage with Councillor and City Council to ascertain what really the problem is.
