In as much as we understand the challenges our service providers may be facing but with regards electricity I would say we have reached our lowest point as a country. in Area 25 we are at times only having power for 5 hours in a day and at night for that matter when we have to rest and be sleeping. Please ESCOM assist us, last time I heard about the possibility of tapping power from Mozambique where are we with this.

Faults that occurred yesterday night have caused some areas in the Southern region to have no power supply. These areas include Nyambadwe, Ndirande, Limbe, Kwacha, Chigumula, Chiwembe, Thyolo and Mulanje. Our engineers are currently on the ground working on the faults to ensure these areas are supplied power. Sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused to our customers.
